Dear Yalies,
Please join fellow Yalies and alumni of other US universities for a relaxed day of cherry blossom viewing and great company at the annual intercollegiate hanami gathering. All family and friends are welcome. Please look for the Yale section indicated by Yale signage. Come and go as you please.

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM (we must clean up and leave the park by 4:30 PM, so please try to stop by well before then)

The date is timed to coincide with Tokyo’s anticipated full bloom. In case of rain, the event will move to Sunday, April 5 (chosen to avoid overlap with the Intercollegiate Sakura Ball on April 4 at the Tokyo American Club).
NOTES
• Food & Drinks: Please bring food and drinks for yourself and/or to share.
• Tarps: There will be a Yale section with tarps. If you bring any tarps, please note that heavy blue tarps (ブルーシート) are not accepted by the park’s trash collection. Only thin, lightweight disposable tarps can be disposed at the park.
• Games & activities: Bring anything fun for all ages!
This is a casual, family-friendly gathering with no formal program — just good company under the cherry blossoms. Wear your Yale blue!
We look forward to seeing you there!
